Community Service Committee Meeting

March 24, 2010
5:00 pmto6:00 pm

Our next Community Service Committee Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 24th at 5 pm at the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce, 310 SE 3rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34471.

The Community Service Committee meets to discuss opportunities within the community where ELO members can serve and then organizes the projects and promotes them to our membership. In the past we have worked with Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, United Way, The Giving Tree (buying gifts for less fortunate at Christmas – an annual event which we will be discussing again very soon), Food 4 Kids, and others. We are always open to suggestions from committee members for new projects because as you can imagine there are countless ways to serve in the community. In addition to ELO sponsored community service projects, it is the hope that we can foster a variety of member initiated projects as well.

Please contact Amy Reed Pittman at amy@millhorn.com if you have any questions.
